The Pathaan teaser has been released, and it features Shah Rukh Khan in an action avatar. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also appear in the film.
Shah Rukh Khan and Yash Raj Films released the first Pathaan teaser on Wednesday, and the actor delivers a few lethal punches in the film. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also appear in the film. Siddharth Anand is the director.
The trailer begins with a woman who sounds eerily similar to Dimple Kapadia saying in a voiceover that Pathaan was captured by the enemies and severely tortured during his last mission. Pathaan, on the other hand, is not so easily defeated. He soon escapes from his cell after an impressive fight scene and some kicks that cause his enemies to explode. The action is slick, but the explosions appear too raw and green screen-y.
Then we meet a sultry Deepika Padukone, who gets to beat up a few bad guys while romancing Pathaan. Pathaan’s nemesis appears to be John Abraham, as they battle on trucks, snowmobiles, fighter planes, tanks, bikes, and other modes of transportation. The trailer is jam-packed with action sequences, romance and many explosions.

On the occasion of his 57th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan released the trailer-teaser on Wednesday. This is his first collaboration with Siddharth Anand, who previously worked with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff on War. Zero, directed by Aanand L Rai, was Shah Rukh’s most recent film.
The Hindi teaser for the film has received over 2.6 million views on YouTube in less than two hours. The film will be released in Indian theatres on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
