Ram Setu is an entertaining adventure drama starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushratt Bharuccha.
Ram Setu, Akshay Kumar’s fourth release of the year, which was released around the Diwali festival, did not set the cash registers ringing, but it did manage to resurrect Kumar from the box office failures of his previous three films.
According to Box Office India, the film ranks sixth among the year’s top first-week earners and is Kumar’s best first-week earner this year. Ram Setu has done Rs 58.90 crore in business so far, with an initial investment of Rs 15.25 crore.
However, given that the film was a festive release (it was released the day after Diwali), the performance has fallen short of expectations.

The plot revolves around the life of an archaeologist who is on a mission to decipher the mystery of Ram Setu in order to prove its existence. Jacqueline Fernandez
According to ABP, Jacqueline Fernandez, who made a cameo appearance in Kiccha Sudeep’s action thriller Vikrant Rona earlier this year, received Rs 4 crore in fees from Ram Setu. Fernandez plays Dr. Sandra Rebello, a key member of Kumar’s expedition team in the film.
Nushrratt Bharuccha
Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was appreciated for her strong performance in Janhit Mein Jaari, managed to maintain the positive momentum with Ram Setu. According to ABP, Bharuccha, who plays Kumar’s wife Professor Gayatri Kulshrestha, was paid Rs 3 crore for her role.
Satyadev Kancharana
Satyadev Kancharana, a Telugu actor, made his Bollywood debut in Ram Setu. According to ABP, the well-known South actor earned Rs 1 crore for his performance in the action-adventure drama.
Jeniffer Piccinato
Jeniffer Piccinato, a model-turned-actor, made an appearance in Ram Setu. Piccinato, according to ABP, charged Rs 75 lakh to be a part of the film.
Nassar
According to ABP, well-known South actor Nassar, who has appeared in Bollywood films such as Rowdy Rathore, Article 15, Marjaavaan, and many others, earned Rs 45 lakh for his role in Ram Setu.
Ram Setu has found a place at the sixth spot in the year’s top first-week earners and is the best first-week earner of Akshay Kumar this year.
Akshay Kumar
Khalidi 786, aka Akki, is the main face of the film. According to ABP, actor Akshay Kumar, one of the highest taxpayers in the nation, reportedly charged Rs 50 crore for the action-drama. In the Abhishek Sharma-directed film, Kumar plays Dr. Aryan Kulshrestha, an archaeologist on a mission to prove the existence of Ram Setu. Since he is also the co-producer of the film, he will also be sharing the film’s profits.
